Charles Schulz (1922-2000) Original "Peanuts" Comic Strip: Dated 9-15-1965. Black ink over pencil on drawing board. Signed in the fourth panel. Dated on first panel. Original daily strips have a crease down the center from being folded in half to fit into envelopes for mailing to the syndicate. The United Feature Syndicate copyright notice is affixed to the board in the first panelon the left. Panel reads: 1st panel "English Essay: What I did this summer". 2nd panel: "I played ball and I went to camp". 3rd panel: "One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight". 4th panel: "Nine hundred and ninety two words to go". Matted and framed and measuring 36.75 x 15.25". Provenance: From a private residence in Concord, Ohio.
